Tokyo sound artist, Shinji Wakasa, makes his debut appearance on Inner Ocean with his latest album Pluma, a sonic mix of electronic beats and ambient soundscapes. Pluma is dedicated to the study of birds, their anatomy and physiology. Shinji writes "Birds wings are similar to the human arm in it consists of three parts: the upper arm, forearm and hand, along with three joints: the shoulder, elbow and wrist. The feathers that cover the wing are categorized as coverts, primary flight feathers and secondary flight feathers".
